Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 mango, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C
To make the blackening seasoning, put thyme, cayenne pepper, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl
Cover salmon fillets with a lot of blackening seasoning after rubbing them with avocado oil
Set the pan on medium-high heat and sear the salmon fillets for two to three minutes on each side
Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated and bake for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked
To make the salsa, put the diced mango, avocado, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a different bowl
Put the mango-avocado salsa on top of the blackened salmon before serving
