Amish Peanut Butter Fudge

An old favorite, this Amish Peanut Butter Fudge tastes like rich, creamy peanut butter. Its simple to make and great for when youre craving something sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar

Instructions:

Grease an 8x8-inch square baking dish and set it aside

In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, milk, and butter over medium heat

Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil

Once its boiling, let it cook for about 2 minutes without stirring

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth

Gradually add the confectioners sugar to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until well combined

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it out evenly

Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 2 hours, or until its set and firm

Once cooled, cut the fudge into squares and serve
