This loaded potato skillet is easy to make and tastes great for any meal. Bacon, cheese, sour cream, and crispy potatoes all melt together to make a dish that is comforting and filling.
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook diced bacon in a pan until it gets crispy
Take it out and set it aside
Leave the bacon fat in the pan
Toss the diced potatoes into the pan and cook them for about 10 to 15 minutes, until they are golden brown and soft
Put diced onion in the pan and cook it until it gets soft
Add pepper and salt to taste
Add the cooked bacon to the potatoes and onions in the pan
Put cheddar cheese shreds on top and cover the pan until the cheese melts
Take it off the heat and add chopped green onions and sour cream on top
Enjoy while hot
