These Mini Mahi Mahi Burgers are perfect for a Whole30, Keto, Nut-Free, and Paleo diet. Packed with flavor from fresh cilantro, lime zest, and spices, they are quick to make and incredibly satisfying. Serve them as a light and nutritious meal any time of day
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Mahi Mahi fillets, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp avocado oil, for cooking
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Sliced avocado, for serving
- Tomato slices, for serving
Instructions:
Chop the Mahi Mahi and put it in a bowl
Add the red onion, garlic, cilantro, lime zest, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper
Mix in the egg until everything is well mixed
Make little burger patties out of the mixture
In a pan, heat the avocado oil over medium heat
The mini burgers should be cooked for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and done all the way through
Put the small Mahi Mahi burgers on lettuce leaves and top them with tomato and avocado slices
